Details of the Job/Internship
KRAFTON India is hiring for the position of legal counsel with 7-12 years of experience to join them in Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, structure, advise, and review corporate agreements including: venture capital investment documentation (SHA, SPA, etc.), fund investment documentation (LPA, side letters, etc.), intercompany corporate agreements and other corporate matters.
- Advise on corporate compliance, and tax matters.
- Work on commercial matters including marketing, publishing, licensing, technology and data privacy-related agreements, etc.
- Supporting Krafton and its affiliates in other regions in corporate and commercial matters as part of the Global Legal Dept.
- Review changes to Indian law and regulations and advise Global Legal.
- Engage and coordinate with outside counsel.
- Monitor Indian governmental and legal issues relevant to the Company.
- Occasional travel may be required within India and broader region, and to U.S. and Korea.
- Other relevant legal duties as assigned.
Eligibility
- 7-12 years of relevant legal experience in top tier Indian law firm and/or in house legal department at premium companies in India.
- Specialized in corporate law, with experience in venture capital investments.
- Able to handle individual corporate development matters without direct supervision.
- Experience or familiarity with fund investments or fund formation.
- Able to handle commercial transactions.
- Flexibility to work with different time zones.
- Team player capable of working both independently and with others.
- Sense of humor.
- Law degree required; must be licensed to practice law in India.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- Experience with international investments, particularly with Singapore, Middle East, Korea, or other Asian markets is a strong plus.
- Korean language skills a plus.
- Tax experience a plus.
