Kunato is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience of 5 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on tech and product compliance, ensuring all products and services meet regulatory standards.
- Oversee corporate housekeeping, including managing corporate records, compliance filings, and board meeting documentation.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including NDAs, partnership agreements, licensing agreements, and service contracts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance practices and policies.
- Handle data privacy matters and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and legal developments affecting the tech sector.
- Manage and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on legal and compliance matters.
Eligibility
- LL.B or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution.
- At least 5 years of experience as a lawyer, with a strong focus on tech and product compliance.
- Proven expertise in corporate housekeeping and regulatory compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of data privacy law and contract law.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
- Admission to the Bar in India.
