Details of the Job/Internship
L.E.K. Consulting is hiring a Legal Counsel in Mumbai, Maharashtra with 3-5 years of PQE. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts across various sectors while supporting L.E.K.’s business in Singapore, Mumbai, and other regional offices.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support APAC General Counsel in ensuring legal compliance across Singapore, Mumbai, and other regional offices.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize internal, external, and third-party contracts.
- Oversee quality control of standard legal and financial terms.
- Manage the entire contract lifecycle, including monitoring unsigned contracts.
- Maintain and update the APAC contracts register and legal template repository.
- Collaborate with executive leaders and cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
- Work with legal project associates to analyze contract data and lifecycle metrics.
- Coordinate with Finance, HR, and Marketing to align legal compliance with operational goals.
- Assist in developing legal training materials, policies, and procedures.
- Support the Global Legal team on strategic projects and assist APAC General Counsel as needed.
Eligibility
- An LLB degree, with an accomplished academic record, from a top-ranked, accredited law school;
- Licensed to practice law in Mumbai with 3-5 years of legal experience, preferably within a professional services firm, top law firm, or similar environment;
