Details of the Job/Internship
Licious is hiring a Legal Counsel to manage litigation, real estate documentation, property due diligence, agreement review and negotiations, and employment law matters for its Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage litigation, arbitration, and pre-litigation matters; liaise with external counsel.
- Draft, review, and negotiate leave and license agreements, lease deeds, and other contracts.
- Conduct property due diligence and title verification.
- Review and negotiate commercial and vendor contracts.
- Advise on employment laws, domestic enquiries, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions.
- Create and implement SOPs for legal processes and compliance.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognised university; LL.M. preferred.
- 2–12 years of post-qualification experience in litigation, real estate, contracts, and employment laws.
- Strong knowledge of civil, commercial, real estate, and employment laws.
- Proven expertise in litigation strategy, agreement review, and negotiations.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Sector experience in FMCG, retail, or manufacturing is preferred.
