Lifera is a biopharmaceutical company wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) with a mission to enable two national priority objectives, which are improving Saudi Arabia’s biopharma resilience, and enabling the achievement of the National Biotech Strategy.
Details of the Job/Internship
Lifera is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience of 4 to 6 years to join their office in Riyadh.
Role and Responsibilities
- Governance/Board Secretary Services: including but not limited to attending meetings with the General Legal Counsel, distributing meeting agendas and supporting documents, taking meeting minutes, preparing resolutions, maintaining and filing records properly and ensuring passed resolutions/recommendations are addressed, monitoring deadlines (internal or statutory requirements), support the board for arranging logistics and travel arrangements, liaising with the Public Investment Fund on matters such as (i) annual Board and Sub-Committee remuneration and allowances; (ii) quarterly reports; (iii) governance frameworks compliance; and (iv) address regular PIF portfolio company requirements.
- Day-to-day legal services: including but not limited to legal research and analysis, document review and drafting, legal support to senior attorneys, contractual management by maintaining files, and documents, monitoring deadlines, court dates, and procedural requirements.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in law.
- 4-6 years of experience in the same field.
- Excellent drafting skills, legal research ability, knowledge of governance and general standard business acumen, ideally board secretary experience, fluent English and Arabic speaker.
