Details of the Job/Internship
Limagrain India is seeking a Legal Manager (Level 5) under the General & Administration function, reporting directly to the CFO – India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review & manage commercial contracts, agreements, notices, and legal documentation.
- Handle civil & criminal litigation, coordinate with external counsel, and represent company before authorities.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, statutory licence renewals, PPVFR/NBA filings, and corporate secretarial duties.
- Liaise with government agencies and support internal teams on regulatory, insurance, and legal issues.
- Maintain compliance records, manage seed-related documentation, and support global/regional legal policy implementation.
Eligibility
- LLB/LLM with 7–10 years relevant legal experience.
- Company Secretary (ICSI) qualification preferred.
- Strong background in commercial contracts, litigation & compliance.
- Experience liaising with government departments & regulatory bodies.
- Prior exposure to the agriculture/seed industry is an added advantage.
