Details of the Job/Internship
Limagrain India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Legal Counsel with expertise in commercial contracts, corporate compliance, and regulatory affairs to join their office in Secunderabad, Hyderabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and manage commercial contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence.
- Ensure timely renewal and compliance with statutory licenses under applicable laws.
- Coordinate with external counsel for civil and criminal litigation.
- Liaise with government authorities and internal departments for regulatory and legal matters.
- Prepare project-related documents including MOUs, affidavits, and undertakings.
- Maintain records for seed licensing, breeder certificates, and regulatory documentation.
- Monitor legal risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure policy implementation.
- Serve as Company Secretary to ensure compliance with corporate governance standards.
- Collaborate with regional and global legal teams for policy alignment and compliance tools.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
- Proven experience in contract drafting, compliance, and litigation management.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
