Details of the Job/Internship

Manthan Capital Advisors is hiring for the position of Legal Counsel to join their office remotely. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal agreements, including investment documents, NDAs, and commercial contracts.
• Provide clear, concise legal advice to internal teams on a wide range of issues.
• Ensure legal compliance across jurisdictions relevant to the firm's operations.
• Collaborate with external legal advisors and manage legal due diligence processes.
• Support portfolio companies with legal guidance on fundraising, corporate governance, and regulatory matters.

Eligibility

• Law degree from a recognized institution.
• Proven experience in handling legal issues, with a focus on contract negotiation and document preparation.
• Strong understanding of legal frameworks related to investments, startups, and venture capital (preferred).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Prior experience in a law firm or in-house legal team supporting venture capital, private equity, or startups is a strong advantage.

Salary/Stipend
