Details of the Job/Internship

Maximus India is hiring a Legal Counsel with 7–10 years of experience to provide strategic and operational legal support across employment law, contract management, company secretarial work, and third-party risk management.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and manage external legal firms for employment-related matters.
• Oversee company secretarial work in coordination with a third-party vendor.
• Lead review, drafting, and negotiation of contracts for vendors, partners, and service providers.
• Support global Maximus entities in contract review and negotiation.
• Identify and mitigate legal and contractual risks.
• Advise internal stakeholders and manage relationships with external legal firms.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognized university; LL.M. preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in corporate law, employment law, and contract negotiation.
• Experience working in an in-house legal team.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
