Details of the Job/Internship

Medtronic is hiring a Legal Counsel with 7–9 years of experience to join their team in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Advise on corporate laws, contracts, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and agreements.
• Provide legal support for government and private tenders.
• Manage litigation and liaise with external legal counsel.
• Monitor legal developments and ensure company compliance.
• Support internal functions (HR, Finance, etc.) with legal matters.
• Conduct internal training and ensure policy implementation.
• Develop contract templates and manage legal risk.
• Coordinate with government authorities, auditors, and directors.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
• Minimum 7–9 years of post-qualification legal experience, preferably in a corporate or law firm setting.
• Experience in the pharma or medical device industry is preferred.
