Details of the Job/Internship

Mensa Brands is hiring for a Legal Counsel role in Bengaluru, Karnataka with  2-4 years of experience as a commercial contracts counsel in an in-house legal team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Reviewing the terms and conditions of commercial contracts.
• Edit legal documents to ensure consistency with company policies and applicable laws.
• Maintaining accurate database and file records, ensuring compliance.
• Communicating with senior management and sales leaders regarding contract provisions.
• Providing a solution-oriented approach to business contract negotiations.
• Assisting with other legal or litigation matters as they arise , Working with fellow Contracts Counsel to develop efficient and effective policies to meet legal and business needs.
• Manage external advisors across jurisdictions that support the legal team.

Eligibility

• LLB degree from a reputed institution.
• 2 to 4 years of experience as commercial contracts counsel in an in-house legal team
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to condense and convey complicated issues clearly and succinctly.
• Negotiation and drafting skills informed by business sense to deal with a rapidly scaling business
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment with a diverse pool of internal stakeholders such as the finance, growth and treasury teams.
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritise intelligently and manage competing timelines by exercising sound judgment
