Details of the Job/Internship
Molecular Devices is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience of 5 years to join their office in Kolkata.
Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the global coordination and execution of Molecular Devices' standard work for the DHR Channel Partner Management Program, including preparation of channel management program analysis reports.
- Generate Red Flag Review Forms for sign off by Compliance leaders.
- Generate new Channel Partner agreements for Business Units, actively drive and manage the Channel Partner onboarding due diligence process. Assist with Channel Partner contract negotiations and annual renewals (where required).
- Conduct training on the Channel Partner Management Program for the regional leads. Work with the local management and associates to ensure compliance with channel management program requirements by approved Channel Partners, such as annual anti-bribery/ anti-corruption training and certification.
- Coordinate implementation of improvements to the channel partner management system with the outside vendor from time to time.
Eligibility
- LL.B from a reputable University and current Practicing Certificate.
- Minimum 5 years of legal transactional (commercial contracts), or compliance experience, preferably in a reputable law firm or corporate inhouse setting.
- Strong project management skills, to include managing and prioritizing multiple concurrent projects and reporting progress and risks to colleagues, and senior members of the Legal & Compliance Department.
- Ability to identify and effectively manage and resolve compliance issues.
