Details of the Job/Internship
MostEdge is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience of 4–8 years to join their office in Hyderabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and maintain employment contracts, NDAs, consultancy agreements, and internal policy documents.
- Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws including the Shops and Establishments Act, EPF, ESI, and Gratuity.
- Support HR in grievance handling, termination documentation, and dispute resolution.
- Track and ensure timely regulatory filings with authorities including ROC, MCA, labour authorities, and tax authorities.
- Manage licensing and regulatory filings including FDI compliance, GST, and other state-wise permits.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for regulatory inspections and inquiries.
- Coordinate with finance, HR, and operations teams during internal and external audits.
- Prepare legal responses to notices or queries from authorities, customers, or vendors.
- Maintain records of litigation, arbitration, or other legal matters.
- Draft, review, and maintain contracts with vendors, contractors, and partners including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and service agreements.
- Support corporate governance and company secretarial functions and liaise with external legal counsel where necessary.
- Track corporate resolutions, board minutes, and maintain legal documentation.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent legal qualification.
- 4–8 years of experience in corporate legal, compliance, or paralegal roles, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment.
- Knowledge of Indian corporate, labour, data protection, and commercial laws.
- Strong drafting, research, and document management skills.
