Details of the Job/Internship

They are looking to hire a legal counsel. The role would report to the Head of Operations and involve working closely with internal teams on diversified legal matters involving customer contracts, data protection laws, compliance laws, and corporate litigation. The incumbent will be responsible for setting up legal processes and handle all legal aspects for Nanonets. If you have 4-6 years of legal experience, and are excited by the idea of working in a fast-paced and high-growth startup, they would love to talk to you.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal and commercial agreements with customers and partners.
• Partner with the sales team to review SaaS contracts to close deals faster.
• Manage Nanonets' compliance agreements and ensure adherence to policies such as GDPR, HIPAA, Privacy Policy, etc.
• Advise management on a variety of legal matters like labor laws, fundraising, corporate diligence, etc.
• Review and approve vendor contracts.
• Build and scale legal processes as per growing needs of the organization.

Eligibility

• Qualified lawyer with 4-6 years of experience in a legal firm or high-growth startups.
• Desire and willingness to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
• Proven experience in reviewing and closing commercial and legal contracts.
• Attention to details and great negotiation skills.
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple engagements and meet timelines.
