Details of the Job/Internship
Neokred is hiring a Legal Counsel with 5–8 years of experience to join their office in Bangalore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts such as MSAs, NDAs, SLAs, vendor, partnership, and consultancy agreements.
- Maintain contract records, deviations, and ensure timely execution, renewals, and closures.
- Handle regulatory and law enforcement correspondence, including responses to notices and summons.
- Coordinate with the Risk & Compliance office and external counsel for filings and submissions.
- Provide legal guidance on fintech, payments, data protection, and cross-border operations.
- Conduct legal risk assessments and support compliance documentation.
Eligibility
- LLB from a recognized institution.
- 5–8 years of overall legal experience with 3–4 years in corporate or commercial law.
- Experience in fintech, payments, SaaS, or technology-based organizations preferred.
- Strong skills in contract drafting, negotiation, and interpretation.
- Knowledge of RBI, NPCI, IT Act, and DPDP/GDPR frameworks.
- Experience in handling regulatory or law enforcement correspondence preferred.
- Excellent written communication and multitasking abilities.
