The company develops consumer technology for the financial infrastructure stack, enabling corporates, banks, fintechs, and startups to launch their own financial services and payment solutions through low-code, plug-and-play technology.
Details of the Job/Internship
Neokred is hiring a Legal Counsel with 5–8 years of legal experience, including 3–4 years in corporate or commercial law to join their Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts such as MSAs, NDAs, SLAs, and vendor agreements.
- Maintain contract controls, versions, and timely renewals.
- Lead legal and regulatory correspondence, responding to notices, summons, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide legal guidance on fintech, payments, data protection, and compliance topics.
- Collaborate with internal compliance and external legal counsel.
- Conduct legal risk assessments and support AML and regulatory documentation.
Eligibility
- LLB from a reputed institution.
- 5–8 years of overall legal experience with 3–4 years in corporate/commercial law.
- Experience in fintech, SaaS, or tech-led businesses preferred.
- Proficiency in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal interpretation.
- Familiarity with financial, data, and privacy laws (RBI, NPCI, IT Act, DPDP/GDPR).
