Details of the Job/Internship
noon is looking for a candidate for the position of Legal Counsel with 3 to 6 years of experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide counsel and guidance to business teams on corporate commercial and contractual matters, day-to-day legal issues and participate in contract review and negotiation to ensure that the best interests of noon are protected and secured.
- Advise decision makers within the business to enable them to take risk-based decisions.
- Advise the business on legal interpretations, internal standards and practices, new business initiatives and other commercial and regulatory matters.
- Provide legal training to the business and be a knowledge-hub of best practices.
- Engage and work closely with business and other functional teams within noon in order to help deliver transactions successfully (finance, tax and human resources).
Eligibility
- Between 3-6 years PQE with significant experience in core corporate, commercial, IP & contracts experience ( For eg- dealing with MSAs, supply agreements, lease agreements, influencer engagements, working through playbook, adept at using CLMs etc.).
- Preferably with e-commerce and retail or banking experience.
- A proven track record at a top law firm and/or in a dynamic in-house legal environment. Ideally with experience in both environments. Regional experience of UAE, KSA and /or Egypt would be an additional advantage.
