Details of the Job/Internship

Office of Pankaj Bajaj is hiring a Legal Counsel (In-House) with experience of 3+ years to join their office in Siolim, Goa. The role involves managing all legal and compliance matters, drafting and reviewing legal documents, preparing applications and filings, representing the organisation in proceedings, and coordinating with senior advocates and external legal advisors.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, affidavits, and applications.
• Handle compliance work across corporate, real estate, and regulatory matters.
• Represent the organisation in legal proceedings, hearings, and government offices when required.
• Prepare and file applications, petitions, and responses accurately and within timelines.
• Maintain organised legal records and case files.
• Coordinate with senior advocates, external counsel, and consultants to ensure smooth handling of ongoing matters.
• Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and update management accordingly.
• Provide strategic legal advice to management on various transactions and disputes.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree (LL.M. preferred but not mandatory).
• Enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India.
• 3+ years of experience in litigation, compliance, or corporate law, with preference for real estate exposure.
• Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory processes, property laws, and commercial law.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with senior lawyers.
• Ability to independently handle multiple cases and deadlines.

Salary/Stipend
