Details of the Job/Internship

OYO is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience of 6–9 years to join their office in Gurugram.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including Lease Agreements and Management Services Agreements.
• Handle specialized contracts such as Buy-Sell Agreements, Revenue Sharing Agreements, and complex Vendor Contracts.
• Develop and standardize contract templates to ensure legal and commercial alignment across business units.
• Provide strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders on risk-mitigated solutions for business expansion.
• Manage the end-to-end contracting process independently, from initial drafting to final execution.
• Ensure all agreements comply with relevant commercial, real estate, and platform-specific laws.
• Collaborate with business teams to translate commercial objectives into legally sound contractual terms.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) is mandatory; an LLM is a plus.
• 6–9 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in contract drafting and negotiation.
• Proven expertise in commercial and real estate laws.
• Prior experience in the real estate, hospitality, or tech-platform sectors is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound understanding of commercial risk assessment and legal documentation standards.
