The PayMate platform provides a comprehensive digital workflow tied to payments which enable greater control and transparency along with better cash flows and an end to end reconciliation for a superior experience for Enterprise and SME in closed-loop supply chains.

Details of the Job/Internship

PayMate is looking for a candidate for the position of Legal Counsel with 4 to 6 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting, negotiating and close Business agreements, Banking agreements, website terms of use, privacy policy, Vendor agreements, Licensing and Service Provider agreements. 
• Negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, from contracts with enterprise customers, to complex and high-value. 
• Working on regulatory aspects of business and fintech laws such as advising the internal stakeholders, liasioning with external counsel.
• Knowledge and implementation of international privacy laws.
• Provide advice and strategic support technology law issues, licensing, and other intellectual property issues. 
• Such other legal matters as may be assigned by General Counsel.

Eligibility

• Years of Experience: 4-6 years experienced Legal and Corporate Counsel
• Qualification: Law Graduate from Reputed Law College

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
