Peninsular Research Operation is hiring Legal Counsel with the experience of 2 to 4 years to join their office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Give accurate and timely counsel to executives on a variety of legal topics.
- Ensure our company meets legal compliance standards.
- Oversee all general legal operations.
- Defining and implementing internal governance policies to ensure the company's processes and practices are in full compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Creating, reviewing, and negotiating various legal documents, such as agreements, terms and conditions, privacy policies, and other contractual arrangements.
- Collaborate with management to devise efficient defense strategies.
- Draft and solidify agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure the company's full legal rights.
- Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces.
- Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization.
- Conduct your work with integrity and responsibility.
- Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation.
Eligibility
- 2 - 4 years of proven experience as a Legal Counsel in a Law firm.
- Education qualification - BA LLB/LLB.
- Having hands-on experience in handling clients in the media is an added benefit.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.
- You possess strong analytical skills, are meticulous, and are a quick learner.
- Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation.
- Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Sound judgment and ability to analyse situations and information.
- Outstanding communication skills.
