Details of the Job/Internship
Pennant Technologies Private Limited is hiring a Legal Counsel with 5–8 years of experience to join its office in Hyderabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted legal advisor, guiding business teams through contract initiation to closure.
- Provide counsel on legal risks, rights, and obligations relating to product development, data privacy, cybersecurity, and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure compliance in new product launches.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and execute agreements including software product licenses, SaaS agreements, MPSAs, and NDAs.
- Work with finance, operations, HR, vendors, consultants, and global partners on contractual matters.
- Advise senior management on critical legal, compliance, and regulatory issues.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Law from a reputed institution.
- 5–8 years of experience with top law firms and/or in-house roles, preferably in SaaS or product-based technology companies.
- Strong knowledge of corporate laws, Companies Act, and allied regulations.
- Proficiency in drafting and negotiating technology contracts and knowledge of IP, GDPR, and Indian labor laws.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
