Details of the Job/Internship
PharmaACE is hiring a Legal Associate with 10+ years of experience to join their India operations, primarily based in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as the single point of contact for all legal matters.
- Provide legal advice and business-oriented guidance on corporate, employment, contracting, leasing, and commercial negotiations.
- Evaluate legal risks and advise on strategic business initiatives.
- Collaborate with leadership on organisational development and projects.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Indian laws and mitigate legal risks.
- Oversee all legal compliance requirements for PharmaACE India operations.
- Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for legal matters.
Eligibility
- Law degree (LLB) from a reputed university with a strong academic record.
- Certification in Corporate Secretarial practice or post-graduation in labour law is preferred.
- Preferably 10+ years of experience supporting multinational and global businesses.
- Strong knowledge of Indian compliance filings under state and central laws.
- Expertise in Indian employment laws is an added advantage.
- Strong team management and communication skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
