Details of the Job/Internship
PharmaACE is hiring a Legal Associate with 10+ years of experience to join their office in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as the single point of contact for all legal-related matters in India.
- Provide legal advice and practical business insight on corporate, employment, contractual, lease, and commercial matters.
- Evaluate and mitigate legal risks for the organization.
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic business initiatives and team projects.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Indian laws and regulatory requirements.
- Advise the leadership team on legal strategies and serve as an escalation point for legal matters.
- Oversee all legal and compliance functions for PharmaACE India operations.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a reputed university with strong academics.
- Certification in corporate secretarial practice or post-graduation in labor law preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a multinational company or supporting global operations.
- In-depth knowledge of compliance under state and central laws of India.
- Strong expertise in employment laws preferred.
- Excellent team management and communication skills.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
