Details of the Job/Internship
Precision for Medicine is looking for a candidate for the position of Legal Counsel - Contracts to join them remotely.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting, review, and negotiation of all kinds of legal agreements including master services agreements, consulting services agreements, statements of work, confidentiality agreements, amendments, among others, using corporate templates, clause libraries, and following internal Policies and Procedures.
- Providing accurate and timely counsel to the different internal business units and executives
- Communicating with external and internal parties creating relationships of trust
- Keeping business stakeholders properly and timely informed of the progress and status of the contracts
- Keeping track of the contracting processes in the contract management and repository systems, and facilitating the signature process and uploading contracts.
- Maintaining current knowledge of changes in business law, contracts legislation and other regulations.
- Conducting your work with the highest degree of integrity, responsibility, and excellence in client service.
- Other duties as assigned.
Eligibility
- Relevant experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, preferably in the life science or pharmaceutical industry.
- Juris Doctor degree or equivalent from accredited law school.
- Licensed attorney as appropriate for local jurisdiction.
