Details of the Job/Internship
Probo is hiring a Legal Counsel for their Gurugram office. Candidates must have 3-5 years of PQE, with a mix of experience in top-tier law firms and/or in-house corporate roles.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including service agreements, partnership agreements, and licensing agreements.
- Provide strategic legal counsel on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters in the Tech, RMG and information markets industries.
- Assess and mitigate legal risks associated with operations and new ventures.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, to ensure compliance with applicable laws and guidelines.
- Support the litigation team in managing disputes and advising on litigation strategies, as needed.
- Stay abreast of emerging legal developments in the RMG and information markets industries, providing insights and recommendations to the business.
Eligibility
- Law degree from a reputed and renowned law college in India.
- 3-5 years of PQE, with a mix of experience in top-tier law firms and/or in-house corporate roles.
- Proven expertise in general corporate law, including contract drafting, M&A, and regulatory compliance.
- Enthusiasm for the RMG sector and information markets, with a deep understanding of the regulatory environment in India.
- Knowledge of litigation processes and the ability to contribute to litigation strategies is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
