Procter & Gamble is hiring a Legal Counsel to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Contribute to and execute legal strategies tailored for the team and organization.
- Lead the development of new techniques, procedures, and services to enhance legal operations.
- Focus on specific brands, channels, or product categories to meet clearly defined legal objectives.
- Collaborate and network effectively within the immediate team to maximize impact and learning.
- Work as an individual contributor while providing supervision and training to entry-level professionals.
- Ensure organizational compliance with all relevant laws and statutory regulations.
- Provide legal guidance that supports the company's broader strategic business objectives.
Eligibility
- A law degree from an accredited law school.
- A valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Company Secretary (ICSI) qualification is preferred.
- Prior experience in a similar legal role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills for effective internal and external influencing.
- Ability to work effectively in a creative and high-ownership environment.
