Details of the Job/Internship
Procter & Gamble (P&G) is hiring a Legal Counsel with 3–7 years of experience to join its Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance on industry-specific laws and ensure compliance.
- Draft, vet, negotiate, and execute commercial contracts and agreements.
- Advise on marketing initiatives, advertising, and product communication.
- Support intellectual property-related matters.
- Assist in business development initiatives, including negotiations and documentation.
- Implement legal processes, policies, and training (including FCPA, anti-bribery, and competition laws).
- Collaborate with government relations teams on regulatory matters.
- Partner with internal departments such as HR, Sales, Marketing, Medical, and R&D.
- Advise on go-to-market strategies.
- Manage disputes and coordinate with external counsel.
Eligibility
- 3–7 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal team (preferably FMCG/pharma).
- Company Secretary qualification preferred.
- Strong experience in commercial contracting and stakeholder management.
- Experience in advertising/marketing advisory and dispute management preferred.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- High integrity and ability to work independently.
