Details of the Job/Internship
Protiviti India Member Firm is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience of 2 to 7 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal support for commercial contracts and advise on regulatory developments in India.
- Review, draft, and redline contracts, with a focus on licensing agreements and technology contracts.
- Independently participate in contract negotiations with clients, partners, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, including GDPR and applicable Indian laws.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on legal matters.
Eligibility
- Law degree from a reputed institution; LLM qualification is an advantage.
- 2-7 years of post-qualification experience, with a focus on consulting, audit, or risk advisory.
- Strong experience in contract negotiations and vendor management.
