Details of the Job/Internship

Regnology is hiring a Legal Counsel with at least 6 years of experience in a software vendor business to join their legal team in Pune. The role involves reviewing, negotiating, and closing commercial contracts, supporting IP and privacy matters, and contributing to larger legal projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate, and close customer contracts, including SaaS, software license and maintenance agreements, managed service agreements, and material outsourcing agreements.
• Support the business with IP and privacy-related queries.
• Review and negotiate supplier, partner, and teaming agreements.
• Track negotiation trends and legal developments.
• Collaborate with the wider legal team on larger legal projects.

Eligibility

• Qualified lawyer with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with revenue teams and independently negotiating customer agreements.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with contracts governed by English, Hong Kong, and Singapore laws.
• Knowledge of SaaS licensing models, IP challenges, and material outsourcing guidelines (e.g., DORA, EBA).
• Familiarity with data privacy laws, including GDPR requirements.
• Ability to work independently with high personal responsibility.
• Fluent in English and based in Pune.
