Details of the Job/Internship
Revolut is hiring a Legal Counsel in India. The ideal candidate should have 4–7 years of PQE in financial services regulations, commercial transactions, data privacy, contract negotiations, and employment/labour law.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and advise on third-party, operations, and marketing agreements.
- Negotiate commercial agreements with external counterparts.
- Identify legal risks in new product development and provide consultation.
- Monitor regulatory changes and advise stakeholders on compliance.
- Coordinate with external counsel on new products, market expansion, and compliance matters.
- Streamline contract negotiation processes and implement operational efficiencies.
- Develop and maintain form agreements, contract management systems, and databases.
- Lead strategic deals, resolve commercial disputes, and manage pre-litigation matters.
- Oversee compliance reviews, filings, policies, and procedures.
- Provide timely legal support across various inquiries.
Eligibility
- 4–7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in financial services regulations, commercial transactions, data privacy, contract negotiations, and employment/labour law.
- Legal Practice in India with a strong understanding of Indian legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Expertise in financial services regulations and their application in commercial transactions.
- Proficiency in contract negotiations, with the ability to handle complex agreements and provide strategic legal counsel on employment and labour law.
- In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws and their impact on business operations and regulatory compliance.
- Strong corporate governance knowledge, with the ability to advise on regulatory compliance matters.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities and delivering results under tight deadlines.
