Details of the Job/Internship

Roundglass is hiring an Assistant Legal Counsel with experience of 3–5 years to join their office in Mohali.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate high-value and high-volume contracts, including licence and services agreements, confidentiality agreements, statements of work, partnership agreements, leases, vendor and subcontractor agreements, marketing agreements, and construction and design contracts, in line with company policies and risk tolerance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate sponsorship, endorsement, player, talent management, academy collaboration agreements, notices, and official communications with AIFF, ISL, and HIL.
• Assess and negotiate customer and vendor contract terms with a focus on privacy and security, including conducting vendor privacy risk assessments to ensure legal compliance.
• Provide legal counsel on existing and new business relationships in alignment with company policies and risk tolerance.
• Support departments with legal and contractual requests and provide clear guidance to non-legal teams.
• Develop, update, and maintain standard agreements and forms to streamline legal processes.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and enforcing compliance policies and procedures.
• Monitor organisational practices to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws, policies, standards, and guidelines.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a reputed institute with 5+ years of relevant corporate legal experience, with in-house experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in a technology startup environment and knowledge of data protection laws, security protocols, sports law, SaaS, and wellbeing.

Salary/Stipend
