Rubicon Research Limited is hiring a legal counsel to join them in Thane office.
Role and Responsibilities
Contract Management:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including:
- Supply and distribution agreements.
- Licensing and technology transfer contracts.
- Confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
- Service and vendor contracts.
- Ensure all contracts are aligned with business goals while mitigating legal risks.
Risk Mitigation:
- Conduct risk assessments for business operations and propose practical solutions to minimize exposure.
- Monitor emerging legal trends and regulatory changes in the pharmaceutical industry to ensure proactive adaptation.
Litigation and Dispute Management:
- Represent the organization in legal proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations as necessary.
- Manage relationships with external counsel to ensure effective and cost-efficient representation in complex litigation.
- Provide pre-litigation advice to minimize disputes and resolve conflicts amicably where possible.
Legal Advisory and Support:
- Offer expert legal advice on strategic initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other business development activities.
- Support internal teams—including manufacturing, quality, and HR—on employment law, safety standards, and other operational matters.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as a key advisor to the executive team and collaborate with cross-functional departments to align legal strategies with business objectives.
- Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators, legal advisors, and industry associations.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Law (LL.B./LL.M.) from a recognized institution – Mandatory.
- 5-10 years of relevant legal experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a reputed law firm.
- Exposure to Pharmaceutical industry and international business is preferable.
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strategic thinking with a problem-solving mindset.
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders across levels.
Salary/Stipend
Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
