Shell is hiring a Legal Counsel with over 7 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Work independently without supervision.
- Take legal lead on high-value and strategically important matters.
- Handle legal matters related to retail network expansion and real estate transactions.
- Support lubricant manufacturing, sales, and supply.
- Manage commercial contracts and procurement.
- Advise on foreign exchange transactions.
- Handle employer-employee issues and disputes.
- Manage environmental matters.
- Oversee litigation management in line with evolving business needs.
Eligibility
- Law graduate with an LL.B degree.
- Over 7 years of post-qualification experience, primarily in law firms.
- Ability to provide professional, proactive, timely, cost-effective, practical, and commercially sound legal advice.
- Capable of identifying legal risks and offering alternative strategies and mitigation steps.
- Ability to independently engage with business and functional leaders.
- Experience collaborating with legal colleagues across departments and regions.
- Ability to represent the organization in legal negotiations and engagements with third parties.
