Details of the Job/Internship

Soul AI is hiring for the position of Legal Counsel with 3+ years of experience to join their office remotely. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance on a variety of business matters including transactions, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, MoUs, NDAs, service agreements, and other legal documents
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, especially in areas like data privacy, labor laws, and intellectual property
• Collaborate with internal teams to align legal strategy with business goals
• Advise on new projects, partnerships, and AI initiatives from a legal perspective

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution
• 3+ years of experience in a corporate legal role or legal counsel position
• Proven expertise in:
• Commercial and technology contracts
• Intellectual property rights
• Data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, IT Act)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, tech-first environment

Salary/Stipend

Up to ₹1200/hour (project-based, flexible hours)
