Details of the Job/Internship

Syngene International Limited is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience of 8–12 years to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, redline, and negotiate client contracts including Master Services Agreements, Manufacturing Agreements, Proposals, Statements of Work, and Confidentiality Agreements.
• Provide legal support to business teams on contract matters, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
• Advise on legal matters related to operational aspects at Syngene.
• Develop and implement strategies to protect intellectual property rights.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues and recommend legal strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure contract alignment with strategic objectives and compliance.
• Maintain relationships with external legal counsel, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Train new joiners on legal and contractual processes and update training materials and SOPs.
• Work with Contract Life Cycle Management platforms and legal technology tools.
• Act as the first point of contact for respective stakeholders.

Eligibility

• 8–12 years of relevant work experience.
• LLB from a reputed institute. LLM is an added advantage.
• Sound knowledge in contract drafting, redlining, negotiations, and intellectual property rights.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders on complex legal matters.
• Experience with Contract Life Cycle Management (CLM) tools.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry laws and regulations is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Salary/Stipend
