Details of the Job/Internship

Syngene International Limited is hiring a Legal Counsel with 8-12 years of experience to join their Bengaluru office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, redline, and negotiate complex contracts including Master Services Agreements, Manufacturing Agreements, and Confidentiality Agreements.
• Advise business teams on contract matters, risk mitigation, and intellectual property protection strategies.
• Conduct legal research and provide recommendations on complex legal issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure contract compliance and strategic fit.
• Maintain relationships with external counsel and vendors.
• Train new joiners on legal and contractual processes and update training materials.
• Utilize Contract Life Cycle Management (CLM) tools and support digitization and legal technology initiatives.
• Operate independently and serve as first point of contact for stakeholders.
• Uphold the company’s core values of excellence, integrity, and professionalism.

Eligibility

• LLB from a reputed institute; LLM an advantage but not mandatory.
• 8-12 years relevant legal experience including contract drafting, intellectual property, and stakeholder management.
• Experience with CLM tools and legal technology.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.
