Details of the Job/Internship

iTAC Security is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience of 4–8 years to join their office in Chandigarh.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse range of agreements including SaaS contracts, vendor contracts, and NDAs.
• Ensure organizational compliance with data protection, cybersecurity, and Indian IT laws.
• Provide legal guidance to internal stakeholders on business operations and strategic risk mitigation.
• Support corporate governance efforts, including statutory filings and board documentation.
• Identify legal risks within the cybersecurity and data privacy domains and develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel to manage disputes, litigation, and regulatory matters.
• Draft and implement internal compliance frameworks and standard operating procedures.
• Advise on labor laws and other applicable regulatory requirements to ensure seamless operations.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); LLM is preferred.
• 4–8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably within a tech or cybersecurity firm.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and data protection regulations.
• Experience in handling international contracts is considered a significant plus.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with a high attention to detail.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
