Details of the Job/Internship
Tech Mahindra is hiring a qualified Legal professional with 8+ years of experience in IT industry contracts to support its legal and compliance functions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and vet IT, ITES, and technology-related contracts, agreements, and legal documentation.
- Negotiate and review Master Service Agreements, EPC and turnkey contracts, Professional Service Agreements, NDAs, and procurement agreements.
- Handle government tenders, bid proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and EOIs.
- Manage contracts with OEMs, service providers, and subcontractors relating to software licensing, hardware, cloud, SaaS, AI, and manpower.
- Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders on contractual correspondence, amendments, extensions, and compliance obligations.
- Handle filing, prosecution, registration, and renewal of trademark, copyright, and patent applications.
- Advise internal stakeholders on intellectual property issues, including usage and infringement.
- Coordinate with external attorneys for IP registration and related activities.
- Identify, mitigate, and manage contractual and IP risks, liabilities, and deviations to safeguard company interests.
Eligibility
- Qualified LL.B.
- Minimum of eight years of experience in contract management within the IT industry.
- Strong expertise in technology contracts and intellectual property matters.
