ThinkPalm Technologies is hiring for the position of Legal Counsel with 6+ years of experience to join their office in Ernakulam.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal agreements, including:
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs)
- Service Agreements
- Vendor Contracts
- Provide legal counsel on intellectual property (IP) protection, covering:
- Trademarks
- Patents
- Copyrights
- Other proprietary assets
- Ensure compliance with applicable international laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Advise business teams on legal risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (HR, Finance, Business Development) to resolve legal issues promptly.
- Manage legal disputes and coordinate with external legal counsel when required.
- Stay updated on evolving legal and regulatory trends, especially in IT and telecom.
Eligibility
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) – Required
- Master’s degree in Law (LLM) – Preferred
- Experience:
- Minimum 6+ years in contract drafting and negotiation, preferably in the IT or telecom sector
- Legal & Industry Expertise:
- Strong understanding of IT and telecom industry practices and related legal implications
- In-depth knowledge of key international regulations, including:
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- Export Control Laws
