Details of the Job/Internship

Third Bridge is hiring a Legal Counsel with 5–7 years of experience to join its growing global legal team in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting, negotiating, and approving client and vendor agreements across APAC jurisdictions.
• Managing service, procurement, marketing, NDA, lease, and content distribution contracts.
• Developing contract templates, playbooks, and self-service tools for routine matters.
• Advising on financial services regulations, securities laws, market abuse, and MNPI handling.
• Monitoring regulatory developments across APAC and assessing business impact.
• Advising on data protection and privacy laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Managing corporate governance requirements, including board papers, resolutions, and statutory records.
• Supporting corporate transactions such as share issuances, reorganisations, and acquisitions.
• Providing integrated legal advice across commercial, regulatory, employment, and governance matters.
• Collaborating with commercial, compliance, HR, and finance teams.
• Delivering legal training and supporting strategic legal projects and process improvements.

Eligibility

• Law degree from a recognised Indian university or equivalent qualification.
• 5–7 years of post-qualification experience with strong commercial and regulatory exposure.
• Experience in financial services regulation, securities law, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Multi-jurisdictional APAC experience is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
