Details of the Job/Internship
Turium AI is hiring a Legal Counsel with over 2 years of experience to join their office in Hyderabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee corporate governance, including MCA filings, statutory registers, and compliance with the Companies Act.
- Draft and maintain India-compliant employment contracts, offer letters, and internal HR policies.
- Advise on Indian labor laws such as the Shops & Establishments Act, Gratuity, PF, and ESIC.
- Partner with the Finance department on legal matters affecting financial risks and statutory audits.
- Draft, review, and negotiate vendor agreements, consultancy contracts, and NDAs.
- Manage technology and IP-related agreements to ensure protection of intellectual property and confidentiality.
- Monitor changes in Indian legislation and provide proactive risk management solutions to leadership.
Eligibility
- LLB or LLM from a recognized Indian institution and licensed to practice law in India.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in corporate, employment, or compliance law.
- Prior experience supporting Indian operations for startups, scale-ups, or global companies.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with HR and Finance functions.
- Strong working knowledge of Indian corporate law and practical, solution-oriented mindset.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to operate in fast-moving environments.
