Details of the Job/Internship

United Breweries Ltd. is hiring a Legal Counsel with 5–8 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Bangalore.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including distribution, agency, service, and real estate agreements.
• Provide legal advice on operational and excise-related matters and implement risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with internal teams.
• Manage litigation across various forums, third-party disputes, statutory notices, and administrative proceedings.
• Lead anti-trust and IPR matters and conduct periodic training and sensitisation programs for employees.
• Assist in drafting and implementing internal policies, SOPs, and frameworks.
• Conduct legal research on applicable laws, regulations, and industry trends.
• Maintain MIS, manage global platforms, and ensure periodic updates and reporting.

Eligibility

• LL.B./LL.M. from a recognized university.
• 5–8 years of post-qualification experience in a reputed law firm or in-house legal department.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
