Details of the Job/Internship

Yana Attorneys and Legal is hiring a Junior Associate with 0-5 years of experience to join their office in Chennai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and finalize M&A agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Review legal documents, including Sale and Conveyance Deeds.
• Prepare and file Petitions and represent clients in courts, ensuring timely and accurate filing of applications, affidavits, and appeals.
• Conduct thorough legal research on precedents, case laws, and statutes.
• Liaise with companies to prepare legal due diligence reports in compliance with SEBI ICDR and LODR norms.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution.
• 0-5 years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, IPO issuance, legal drafting, and court appearances. Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Proficiency in M&A agreements, Writ Petitions, and DRT/DRAT procedures.
• Excellent legal drafting, research, and communication skills with a strong command of the English language.

Salary/Stipend
