Details of the Job/Internship
YES BANK is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience of 4–8 years to join their Registered Office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and review transaction and security documents, including APLMA/LMA documentation.
- Liaise with external legal counsels across multiple jurisdictions for cross-border matters.
- Vet product notes, policies, and terms related to banking products and services.
- Analyze statutory and regulatory risks and provide advisories to business teams.
- Track and update relevant laws, rules, and regulations for internal compliance.
Eligibility
- LLB from a reputed law college/university in India.
- LLM from a foreign or reputed domestic institution is preferred.
- Experience in scheduled commercial banks, foreign banks, or law firms handling cross-border transactions.
- Well-versed with Indian laws related to lending and security creation for wholesale banking.
- Candidates with only litigation, retail, or collection profiles will not be considered.
- No hybrid work structure is permissible.
