YES BANK is hiring legal professionals for its wholesale and cross-border banking portfolio.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and review transaction and security documents for domestic and cross-border lending.
- Work with APLMA/LMA documentation for structured finance and loan transactions.
- Coordinate with domestic and international external legal counsels across jurisdictions.
- Vet product notes, process documents, policies, and terms for IBU branches and business groups.
- Analyse legal, statutory, and regulatory risks and provide advisory support to business teams.
- Track updates in laws and regulations impacting the Bank’s products and policies.
Eligibility
- LLB from a reputed Indian law college or university.
- LLM/Master’s degree from reputed domestic or foreign institutions preferred.
- 4–8 years of PQE in scheduled commercial banks, foreign banks, or law firms handling cross-border/wholesale banking matters.
- Strong understanding of Indian lending laws, security creation, and regulatory frameworks.
- Candidates with only litigation, retail portfolio, or collections background will not be considered.
- Willingness to work full-time onsite at the Bank’s Registered Office in Mumbai (no hybrid work).
