Details of the Job/Internship
YourTribe is hiring a Senior Legal & Compliance Counsel with 6–8 years of experience to join their Legal & Compliance team in a hybrid Bengaluru setup.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and close complex Tier-1 enterprise MSAs, RFPs, and licensing structures across India, SEA, MEA, and the US.
- Own privacy and compliance programs including DPDP implementation, DPIAs, cross-border data arrangements, sub-processor reviews, and incident response playbooks.
- Advise on product, AI governance, export control considerations, and intellectual property strategy.
- Design and implement legal processes, metrics, and clause governance using CLM tools.
- Support leadership on board governance, policy updates, and M&A activities including diligence and post-closing integration.
- Mentor team members and improve drafting quality and negotiation outcomes.
Eligibility
- LL.B. with 6–8 years of experience in TMT, fintech, or SaaS sectors.
- Demonstrated experience in leading enterprise MSAs and compliance programs.
- Hands-on execution of DPDP and GDPR, with understanding of RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, and IT Act requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across sales, product, security, and finance teams.
- Privacy or CIPP certifications are desirable.
