Infosys is hiring a Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel to join their office in Bengaluru East.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review complex commercial IT contracts, primarily in English, governed by Dutch and other European laws, including IT outsourcing agreements, IT service agreements, alliance agreements, subcontracting agreements, license agreements, and other related contracts.
- Review proposals and requests for proposals (RFPs), assist in preparing proposals, and provide support in responding to RFPs.
- Participate in negotiations with customers and vendors across BeNeLux and continental Europe, ensuring compliance with internal contracting requirements, policies, and risk mitigation standards.
- Analyze legal and commercial risk issues and present clear recommendations to business teams and senior management.
- Act as an interface between local offices and global headquarters.
- Create standard contract forms, including translations from English into local languages, and adapt contracts to local laws.
- Perform legal advisory functions and act as the local interface for the global legal team on corporate compliance matters.
- Track laws and regulations relevant to the company’s business and policies.
- Share knowledge about local laws and business trends within the Infosys global legal community.
