Details of the Job/Internship

HCLTech is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel – Customer Contracts with experience of 4–8 years to join their office in Noida. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Independently review and negotiate IT contracts for customers, subcontractors, vendors, and alliance partners.
• Review and negotiate Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, Partner, Reseller, Teaming, and Rainmaker Agreements.
• Identify contractual, commercial, and operational risks and provide appropriate mark-ups to mitigate exposure.
• Coordinate with procurement, business, delivery teams, and other legal team members to close transactions.
• Provide legal support for ongoing contract management activities and work closely with external legal counsel.
• Participate in discussions with internal stakeholders, external counsels, and advisors throughout the contracting lifecycle.
• Prepare monthly transaction reports and participate in cadence reporting, management meetings, presentations, and trainings.
• Manage, mentor, and guide junior lawyers and support legal projects assigned by Senior Legal Counsels.

Eligibility

• Experience of 4–8 years in customer contracts and IT contract negotiation.
• Strong experience in negotiating IT outsourcing and other IT contracts with customers.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex contract negotiations.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
