Details of the Job/Internship

Votum is seeking a Legal Intern for a 2–3 month (extendable) full-time or part-time internship to assist in legal research, drafting, and product innovation. The role provides practical exposure to legal-tech applications and strengthens core legal skills for law students or recent graduates.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on statutes, judgments, and precedents to support product development and client queries.
• Assist in drafting contracts, NDAs, MoUs, and other legal documents under supervision.
• Review internal and external documents for compliance, accuracy, and risk assessment.
• Prepare case studies and legal briefs showcasing technology applications in law.
• Collaborate on knowledge management projects (summarizing judgments, curating precedents, annotating cases).
• Support business development activities like pitch decks and proposals (secondary responsibility).
• Contribute ideas for campaigns, events, and webinars for legal professionals (optional).

Eligibility

• Current law student (3rd year or above in 5-year course / final year in 3-year course) or recent law graduate.
• Strong legal research and drafting skills (preferred).
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Interest in legal-tech, innovation, and emerging technologies.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
